In large saucepan, melt margarine, then add syrup and sugar. Boil 5 minutes--stirring constantly--add 1 1/2 cans milk per batch. Mix flour in 1/2 can of milk per batch, and add to mixture. Boil until mixture darkens and forms medium hard ball (248-250 degrees) STIR CONSTANTLY Add vanilla and pour into buttered cake pan. Allow to cool and cut 9x12 (into 108 pieces).
